After wowing the judges with their unbelievable flips and amazing acrobatic dance routines for 4 months, India’s dance group V Unbeatable lost the finale battle in America’s Got Talent and ended up in fourth position.
Singer-songwriter Kodi Lee, who’s visually disabled and autistic took home the coveted trophy and $1 million. As for V Unbeatable, they looked literally unbeatable as they gave a power-packed finale performance on Dhating Naach from Shahid Kapoor and Nargis’ Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Mostly known for performing on Ranveer Singh numbers, they made the exception for their finale performance.
However, after making it to Top 5, came the heartbreaking moment when the Mumbai dance group was booted out of competition, leaving some of the members in tears.
“It was a dream for us and we will work hard on our dreams, we will fight for our dreams one day,” said a group member from V Unbeatable after losing the finale battle.
Judge Julianne Hough praised the talented bunch of contestants saying the impact they made every week on the show is beyond winning the show and wished them all the best.
“I just want to say it’s shocking that the impact you have made every single week on the show is above and beyond winning the show. Because I know that you guys are going to have an incredible career ahead. You guys have created a community not just in America, but globally, you have united us,” said Julianne.
