It’s official. Hina Khan is not returning to Kasautii Zindagii Kay owing to her other commitments, but that doesn’t mean Komolika will go missing from Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Ekta Kapoor has confirmed that a new Komo is all set to enter the show, which has left the fans excited. Hina Khan fans are of course inconsolable. 
Rumour mills suggested that Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan was in advanced talks with the Kasautii makers to play Komolika but she is in two minds about it as she is also considering some other projects including some web series.
Before Gauahar, Dil Se Dil Tak actress Jasmin Bhasin was said to be approached for the show, but she denied the reports. The actress added that she would not consider a project where she had to step into someone else’s shoes and would like to build the character from scratch. The wisdom comes from the fate of her last project Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji apparently where she replaced the lead actress and the show wrapped up soon after.
Meanwhile, Hina Khan, the original Komolika of Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot, has her hands full with movie projects including Vikram Bhatt’s Hacked and another web series.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay stars Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan as Prerna and Anurag. Karan Singh Grover recently entered the show as Mr Bajaj and forced Prerna to marry him. Komolika’s re-entry is expected to amp up the drama. But the question is who will play the role of this iconic vamp considering Hina Khan has already left her mark as the stylish and suave Komolika.
