New Delhi: Good news for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans who were eagerly awaiting the return of their favourite Dayaben aka Disha Vakani.
Producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Asit Kumar Modi has confirmed Disha’s return after months of speculation over her replacement. Modi said he had been asking the actress to return to the show from a very long time.
Disha’s comeback would take another month as per reports. The actress had been missing from the show for over two years now following birth of her daughter.
Disha Vakani couldn’t feature in the show all this while because she was required at home to be with her kid.
Producer Asit Kumar Modi after waiting for her for the longest time was contemplating casting another actress in her place. However, he hadn’t ruled out the possibility of the original Dayaben returning to the show.
It looks like the wishes of her fans has now come true and Dayaben would make a grand comeback very soon.
Rumours are rife that she might return during the celebrations of Navratri.
