New Delhi: Chulbul Pandey is back and he is more badass than ever before. So much so that he won’t let the actor (Salman Khan) who plays him steal his limelight. In the latest teaser of Dabangg 3, Chulbul Pandey tells viewers that he would be promoting the film instead of Salman Khan kyunki “picture haamri, poster hamaara, to promote bhi to hum hi karenge na.”
The film is all set to release on December 20 and will be directed by Prabhudeva and bring back the original cast of Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Mahie Gill among others.

There were reports that Dabangg 3 would be a prequel, but Sonakshi Sinha says the movie will have elements of both past and present in an interiview. “It is prequel and present. There is a backstory to my character as well. Also, a lot of team members are the same, right from the camera crew to costume department to assistant directors, etc. Prabhudheva sir has joined us as a director and I am happy he is working on this film,” she was quoted as saying in a report published by NDTV.
The film will also show Chulbul Panday’s backstory before he became a cop and was a goon with a good heart. The film this time will be seen taking on land mafia.
“Some years ago, land-grabbing by the mafia, who had political clout and financial muscle, made headlines. This particular police officer had taken on them, knowing the implications of their political connections. How this cop dealt with the land mafia is the basis of the story of Dabangg 3,” a source had told Filmfare about the storyline of Dabangg 3.
