New Delhi: Devoleena Bhattacharjee has proved she is as good with tasks as she’s with making chapattis in kitchen. In last night’s task BB Bank, she put her heart and soul trying to make her team win, even though she was not at the risk of getting nominated by virtue of being a queen.
Despite doing her best, they lost and her other team members Rashami Desai and Mahira Sharma were nominated for eviction.
In the BB Bank task, the girls were divided into two teams with three members each and were tasked with filling the respective tijoris of their teams. Boys played an important and decisive role in the task as they were the guards of the table where currency notes were kept. The Team whose Tijori has more notes would win the task and gets saved from nominations.
Team A had Rashami, Mahira and Devoleena while Team B had Aarti, Shehnaz and Shefali. As soon as the task was announced the housemates start strategising in order to save their favourite contestants.
But here’s the catch. Things didn’t happen the way viewers or the girl expected them to happen as Sidharth Shukla, the mastermind of the season, decided that they have to make Team B win considering in Team A, Devoleena is already safe. While Shukla was clear, nobody could understand why Siddharth Dey didn’t support Team B considering Shefali was in it. He chose to support Rashami’s team and have them maximum currently, leaving Shefali fuming. Is it end of their love story?
When Devoleena, Rashami and Mahira sensed that most of the boys are supporting Team B, they decided to play their own game and started stealing money from the table. Devoleena especially displayed her unknown side as she got into fisticuffs with Shefali and was not willing to leave her until the other girls intervened.
Devoleena also tried to break Tijori with a dumble, but was successfully stopped by other team’s members. In the end Team A lost, but not without making a whole-hearted effort.
After the task, the housemates have re-arranged themselves into fresh groups. Shefali has entered Shehnaz’s group and ditched Siddharth Dey. Devoleena Bhattacharjee is no longer in Siddharth Shukla’s group which means she has reunited with Rashami Desai. Asim has joined hands with Shukla and seems to be now coming out of his shell.
While Devoleena has started showing her stronger side, Rashami’s emotional blackmails hurt a bit. Her breaking down in front of Abuji for not supporting her during the task looked more manipulative than emotional. Siddharth Shukla, however, needs to respect women if he wants to get ahead in the game.
