New Delhi: After winning hearts with their vichitra Jodi in Bigg Boss 12, Bhajan king Anup Jalota and singer Jasleen Matharu will reunite on big screen. The two will play guru-shishyaa in the film written and directed by Jasleen’s father Kesar Matharu.
Last year around the same time the two had entered Bigg Boss 12 as lovers and their age gap set the social media afire. Jasleen’s father also expressed his anguish over their affair saying he was kept in dark about their relationship.
After much hullaballoo, Jasleen and Anup after coming out of the show claimed that they faked their relationship for the show and they were just guru-shishyaa in real life and nothing more-much to the relief of Mr Matharu.
The film is titled Vo Meri Student Hai and is being made to clear the air about their equation in real life. In the film, Jasleen learns music from Anup who often asks her to dress up more appropriately as he is from a traditional music background.
Anup and Jasleen continue to face the heat of this fake link-up till date and the film is the last hope for them to clear air.
Jalota will also be seen rapping in the film in a dream sequence.
