New Delhi: Komolika is back with all her swag and style in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She, however, has a brand new face now. Instead of Hina Khan, Kahiin To Hoga star Aamna Sharif is now portraying the iconic role, who has also made a comeback to telly world after a gap of six years post becoming a mother.
Aamna who played Kashish opposite Rajeev Khandelwal’s Sujal in Ekta Kapoor’s Kahiin To Hoga (2003) is looking more glamorous than ever before. The actress has also been part of big screen projects like Aloo Chaat and Ek Villain.
The previous Komolikas Urvashi Dholakia and Hina Khan portrayed the character in their own way and both were appreciated for making Komolika one of the most stylish vamps ever. Aamna Sharif says she wants to give Komolika her own flavour.
“Urvashi Dholakia and Hina Khan have made the character very popular but I have faith in Ekta and did not want to question her decision as to why she thought I was the perfect fit for this role. Comparisons are inevitable but I will try to make it different. I haven’t watched the show before as I wanted to give Komolika my own flavour,” Aamna Sharif said about her role.

Aamna Sharif has no qualms in turning bad and is excited about playing the iconic character. “The look is very stylish and a lot of detailing has gone into it especially the jewelry. The audience did not expect to see me like this but I am very excited to play Komolika.”
