New Delhi: Nia Sharma is the latest Naagin on the block. The actress has been signed for the latest installment of Naagin, set to air on Colors TV soon. Ekta Kapoor took to Twitter to welcome Nia to the Naagin family.

The first trailer of the new season dropped recently and showed two Naagins with their fates interlinked. However their faces were not revealed.

Last season of Naagin starred Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri and Anita Hassanandani in key roles and ended with a hint that the story will be carried forward to the new season. However, after Ekta’s announcement and looking at the title of the new season which has the tagline ‘Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel’, it seems like the new season will have a fresh storyline.
The first season of Naagin premiered on November 1, 2015 and starred Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan in lead roles. The second season was the continuation of the first season’s story and focussed on female lead’s grown-up daughter’s story. Karanvir Bohra joined the cast as the male lead in second season.
As for Nia Shama, she has come out of her daily soap Jamai Raja’s shadown and established her own niche from being adjudged one of Asia’s sexiest women to featuring in bold and daring roles in web series Twisted and Jamai 2.0. She was last seen in Ishq Meri Mar Jawan in negative character.
