If I don’t visit a court, the film doesn’t become a hit: Taapsee Pannu

Courtroom dramas are lucky for Taapsee Pannu. No wonder she asked the makers of Saand Ki Aankh to include one in the film.

Taapsee Pannu who is getting accolades for her performance as ace shooter Prakashi Tomar in Saand Ki Aankh recently made an interesting revelation on The Kapil Sharma Show.

The actress said that courtroom dramas are lucky for her and all her movies that featured court sequences turned out to be commercially successful.

No wonder Taapsee Pannu asked the makers of Saand Ki Aankh to put a small sequence of court in the film.
“If I don’t visit a court during my film, the films don’t become a hit,” said Tapsee on The Kapil Sharma Show.

She had been a part of court room sequence in her movies like Mulk, Pink, Badla amongst other.

In Saand ki Aankh, there is courtroom drama with a twist. Taapsee would be part of a sequence of Gram panchayat in the village. The actress says, “It seems courtroom drama has become my sub-genre. (Laughs).”

During the show, Taapsee also talked about her wedding plans. The actress mentioned that she planned to do a small wedding with very limited guests.

The actress says she doesn’t want a big fat wedding. And she has reasons for that. Tapsee runs a wedding planning agency named ‘The Wedding Factory’.

She says, “Company chalane ka faida hai ki apko pata hota hai kaha fizul kharcha hai.”

Taapsee says she wants to cut down extra expenditure from her future wedding and rather invest in some productive thing.
