New Delhi: After the success of four seasons, Remo D’Souza is all set to make a comeback with Dance Plus 5 in a new avatar. With a new look and a bigger and glossier format, Dance Plus 5 will bring back the formidable team of Remo, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and host Raghav Juyal. The only face missing would be of Shakti Mohan who was unavailable due to date issues.
Remo is excited about the all-new season of the dance reality show and promises that the upcoming season would be bigger and better.
“Dance has been my one true passion for as long as I can remember, I’m really happy with the progress I have made and grateful for my journey throughout the years with ABCD, ABCD 2 (now coming with Street Dancer) and also Dance + franchise running successfully for the last 4 seasons. Back then we didn’t know what the journey will be like, but I am glad that we took the leap of faith and went ahead of our passion and recognized some truly talented dancers hidden in the small corners of our country. Dance + 5 is going to be crazier and bigger and we can’t wait to witness the emerging talent of our country again,” said Remo D’Souza.
Apart from the show, the triumvirate of Remo, Dharmesh and Punit will reunite for their next film Street Dancer 3D, also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi and Prabhu Deva.
Dance Plus 5’s quirky promo featuring Raghav and Remo is already creating waves in internet. In the promo, Raghav and Remo are seen on a hot air balloon when Raghav spots a fish jumping in the midst of clouds. “Baadlon mein machchli. Ye Kaise Ucchli,” he says startled.
Remo tells him that this is Dance Plus and anything is possible. He then asks Raghav to jump off the hot air balloon and he agrees as Remo hints that this time Dance Plus will have something unbelievable and unheard of.
