New Delhi: Varun Badola’s on-screen daughter Anjali Tatrari is fond of him in real life too and considers him a father figure. The 23-year-old gorgeous actress who’s making her debut with Mere Dad Ki Dulhan takes care of Varun on the sets of the show.
The doting on-screen daughter often gives Varun very soothing head massages after hectic shoots and he can’t thank her enough.
“I recently discovered that Anjali is very good with head oil massages, and I am reaping the benefit of her skill…especially after a long and tiring day of shoot. Off-screen too, I treat her like a daughter, and have no qualms asking her for a head massage. I am sure she doesn’t mind too.”
Sharing about their bond he adds, “Anjali is a bubbly girl. She makes fun out of nowhere and this is what I admire about her. She keeps the positivity alive on the sets with her nature.”
As for Anjali, who lost her father at the age of four, she likes to take care of Varun as she feels he’s like her father. The two share a great bond on the sets.
“I lost my father when I was just four years old. But I have found a father figure in Varun sir and we are very fond of each other and share a unique bond. So, one day, when I saw him very tired, I asked if he would be interested in a head massage and he agreed. From that day, he comes to me for a head massage whenever the shoot becomes tiring. I oblige to the same as I would have done the same for my father. I now have to treat Shweta ma’am, who plays Guneet on the show, to my massages one of these days,” says Anjali.
Mere Dad Ki Dulhan is all set to premiere on November 11 on Sony TV.
