New Delhi: After foraying in digital space with Vikrant Massey and Jackie Shroff’s Criminal Justice, director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next web series Out of Love is about a couple whose marriage develops cracks over infidelity. Dealing with complex emotions and tough questions, Out of Love is an official adaptation of Doctor Foster.
The Hotstar web series stars Purab Kohli and Rasika Duggal in main lead and Soni Razdan Harsh Chhaya, Aanjjan Srivaastav and Sanghmitra Hitaishi in pivotal roles.
Speaking about Out of Love and sharing his take on infidelity, Tigmanshu Dhulia said, “I think Infidelity happens, it’s very natural. Some people are great at curbing this feeling of getting into a relationship outside of marriage; but some people are weak and make this mistake. This is what Hotstar Specials presents Out of Love is all about. It is one of the most captivating scripts I have read so far, let alone directed. It revolves around love, lies and infidelity and Rasika, Purab and the entire cast has pulled off such a fabulous job. Each character in the show has different layers, that we had to strategically bring out, to align with the temperament of our viewers. The future is web, and I am delighted to see India creating, adapting and producing such compelling content.”
Out of Love is a riveting portrait of a marriage that’s poisoned by infidelity, heartbreak and betrayal. It raises an important question, when raised with infidelity what would you do – Forgive, Forget or Fight?
Hotstar Specials series Out of Love launches on Hotstar VIP from 22nd November 2019.
