New Delhi: Shweta Tiwari is all set to start her digital innings with Alt Balaji and Zee5’s original series Hum Tum Aur Them. The actress who rose to fame after playing Prerna in 2001 show Kasautii Zindagii Kay surprises with her never-seen-before bold avatar in the web series opposite Akshay Oberoi.

Shweta Tiwari who is currently being seen in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan opposite Varun Badola seems to be back in showbiz with a bang and her fans are quite excited about her upcoming web series, set to start streaming from December 6.

The trailer of the series has received an overwhelming response. The gorgeous actress has also done some intimate scene with her co-star Akshay Oberoi and her character looks far different from what she has done so far in serials like Kasautii, Begusarai, Parvarish, Baal Veer and Begusarai.

The song Kuch Is Tarah is soft and meldious and what stands out is the chemistry between the lead pair. The number is sung by Joell Mukherjee & Madhubanti, the music has been composed by Bagchi Kingshuk Chakravarty.

Hum Tum And Them is the story of two single parents Shiva (Shweta Tiwari) and Yudi (Akshay Oberoi) who give love another chance. Their teenage children try to deal with their past and their new lives, while Shiva and Yudi struggle to maintain their relationships.

“I’m truly honoured to be a part of this project, not only because of it’s one of a kind story line but also the fact that it pushed me out of my comfort zone, right from chopping my hair to portraying the kind of intimacy and vulnerability that I didn’t think I was courageous enough to show, and I didn’t make it easy.

I cried, a lot, felt anxious every single day but there’s irrefutably no other team of people that could’ve pushed me more effectively. I know I was scared, God Knows I was, but @deeyasingh1, @sahir_raza and @akshay0beroi were so incredibly patient.

Thank you Diya for supporting me and making sure I do justice to your vision of Shiva, even when I thought I couldn’t. @ektaravikapoor I can’t thank you enough for entrusting me with yet another beautiful character.

Hope you guys take this journey with me and accept this character for who she is. Lots of Love,” Shweta Tiwari said about her role in the web series.
