Hrithik Roshan opens up on his 20-year journey from KNPH to War, writes a powerful post

Hrithik Roshan started his careers exactly 20 years back in 2000 with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. The actor talks about conquering fears and emerging victorious in a heartfelt post.

New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan has completed 20 years in tinsel town starting with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and setting a new milestone most recently with War, his biggest hit so far. The film that released on January 14 had Hrithik in double role of Rohit and Raj and paired him opposite Ameesha Patel.

Hrithik was lauded for his acting and dancing skils and the film went on to become the biggest hit of the year and got Hrithik the Filmfare award for best debut as well as best actor.

Hrithik Roshan took to social media to open up on his 20-year journey.

“I think the 2 emotions which best describe my journey of the past 20 years since KNPH, is simply “Fear” and “Fearless” both existing simultaneously and never one devoid of the other. On the face of it, Fearless is a David. Fear is more a Goliath. But no matter how many times you repeat the story or in how many different ways, David still always defeats Goliath. I feel terribly bad for fear. Cause it tries so hard. Fearless is a smart cookie, it only follows one rule. To keep going. Thanks Fear. The two decades journey was not without bumps as Hrithik after his blockbuster debut made the mistake of choosing wrong films (Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon among others) and his career went into a downward spiral.

Hrithik, however, bounced back undeterred with the tag of one-film wonder with the success of Koi… Mil Gaya (first of Krrish franchise) and with the success of Krrish, Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar, he didn’t look back.

Hrithik never repeated the mistakes of his early years and chose films with utmost care. Having achieved superstar status in the first decade of his career, Hrithik continued to rediscover himself with films with Guzaarish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara, Agneepath, Kaabil, Super 30 among others.

Not to mention Hrithik’s last release War was massive masala hit that ensures Hrithik’s stardom continues even in the third decade of his career.

Here’s hoping the actor continues with his success wave and break many more records in the years to come.
