New Delhi: Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey will no longer clash on Christmasn 2020. Aamir Khan has confirmed that Akshay Kumar and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have moved the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey.

Akshay Kumar replied to Aamir’s tweet saying–“Anytime, we’re all friends here,” and announced the new release date for his film. Bachchan Pandey will now hit the theatres on January 22, 2021.

Akshay Kumar had earlier dropped the first look of his retro spy drama titled Bell Bottom and announced the release date as January 22, 2021. It seems now this film too will be delayed.
Akshay Kumar and the team of Bachchan Pandey were already thinking of delaying the release of the film as a November report in Mid Day stated that the makers wanted to fine-tune the script and also avoid locking horns with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and have thus post-poned the shoot.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s kitty is full of projects. He is busy with the shoot of Laxmmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi. His Yash Raj Films’ Prithviraj is slated for a Diwali 2020 release post which he is likely to shoot for Bell Bottom.
