New Delhi: Sidharth Shukla has been declared the winner of the longest-running and most successful season of the show, Bigg Boss 13, on Saturday, February 15.
The Dil Se Dil Tak star spoke to media after winning the trophy and a prize of Rs 40 lakh (Paras Chhabra took home Rs 10 lakh after picking up the briefcase).
Sidharth talked about his journey in Bigg Boss 13 and how Shehnaz’s company got the best out of him in the house. He may have teased Shehnaz inside the house saying he would not be in touch with her and not pick up her phone, the actor told reporters that in the normal course of his routine, he tends to miss calls as while working out, he keeps his phone in basement and it’s unreachable. “And while I’m shooting, my phone is never with me. And that leaves hardly any time to attend calls,” said the actor.
He, however, said that he will be in touch with Shehnaz.
Praising Shehnaz Gill, Sidharth Shukla said she’s like a kid and that’s what he liked about her. He also gave credit to Sana for keeping him sane in the tough journey called Bigg Boss.
“I’m great with kids and for me Shehnaz is like a kid. She is very kid like. To be very honest, The kind of moods you have seen me in, my best few moments in the house have been thnks to Shehnaz,” he said.
“The ups and downs with Shehnaz have been great. It has eased me out. There are a lot of conversations in the house that I’m not used to. Staying with her has eased me out because I could just speak about anything with her. The way my journey has gone, I have been able to do it because of my friendship with Shehnaz,” the actor added.
