New Delhi: After Bigg Boss 13 finale, TV buffs have another reason to cheer as another popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi returns with its tenth season.
Khatron Ke Khiladi – Darr Ki University will feature 10 celebrity jaanbaaz students while Rohit Shetty will return this time as the Professor of this scary university.
Shot in the breathtaking locations of Bulagaria, Khatron Ke Khiladi like every year will add a variety of new spine-chilling stunts that will test the stamina and nerves of the contestants.
For the first time, the contestants will be seen performing stunts on a moving train which has been designed by Rohit Shetty. Each episode will have a mix of thrilling acts including an aerial stunt performed on a chopper.
Apart from performing risky stunts, the contestants will also be seen having their share of fun. Be it, Karan Patel and Amruta Khanvilkar breaking into Chaiyya Chaiyya atop a moving train, Tejasswi trying to talk to a ravenous crocodile or Karishma Tanna falling in love with a Gorilla, there will be a lot of interesting moments on the stunt-based reality show.
While Khatron Ke Khiladi has always done well in terms of TRPs, its last two installments especially raked in ratings. This time the expectations are naturally quite high.
“The idea of fear seldom puts us on a backfoot but on Khatron Ke Khiladi, it is definitely not an option. This is my fifth year of association with the show and my job is to push the contestants, which I have always done, to face their phobias head-on and explore their true potential. Even the breathtaking views of Bulgaria will fail to ease out the pain when the contestants’ endurance and mental strength will be put to test,” said host Rohit Shetty.
Meet the contestants
Enrolling in the university will be popular actor Adaa Khan, television’s diva Karishma Tanna, the dapper Karan Patel, the chocolate boy Shivin Narang, the effervescent Tejashwi Prakash, comedian par excellence Balraj Syal, aapli Marathi mulgi Amruta Khanvilkar, Bhojpuri actor Rani Chatterjee, Mumbaichi Rani RJ Malishka and ace choreographer Dharmesh Yelande.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 premieres this Saturday on February 22 and air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Colors TV.
