Salman Khan to play Sikh cop in his next with brother-in-law Aayush Sharma

Salman Khan is all set to be seen as a Sikh policeman in his upcoming untitled gangster drama alongside brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.

New Delhi: Salman Khan who has played cop in numerous films including most recent ones Wanted, Dabangg will play a Sikh policeman in Abhiraj Minawala’s untitled gangster drama.

The superstar’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma plays a North Indian gangster in this action drama and both of them will have multiple confrontations in the film. Minawala has earlier directed Aayush in his debut film Love Yatri under Salman Khan’s banner.

For his character, Salman will be growing a beard and complete the look with a turban. According to sources, he is planning to undergo multiple look tests soon with his team.

Salman plays an honest and upright cop and there is no leading lady opposite him this time. While Aayush Sharma will play a gangster on the run and will have to bulk up for the role and sport a rugged look.

Right now, director Abhiraj Minawala is busy finalising the script and the film will go on floors May onwards and wrap up in September. Salman has apparently allotted bulk dates to the film and it might release by year end or early 2021 post which he will start work on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Before the untitled cop-gangaster drama, Salman Khan’s Radhe releases on Eid 2020. His Kick 2 and third film of Tiger series will be shot next year.
