Mumbai: Tina Philip who’s all set to get married to Ek Aastha Aise Bhee co-star Nikhil Sharma on April 4 is busy planning for her wedding.
The couple have decided to go paperless for their wedding and have finalised their E-invites that have been planned in a very creative manner. The card will also portray the couple’s journey and have minute details of the wedding.
Tina got engaged to Nikhil Sharma on August 4 last year. Her wedding invite is designed by SocioDNA and is very personal and reflects her taste and journey from UK to Mumbai.
Tina had this to say about her wedding: “Mumbai is definitely the city of dreams. I relocated from UK to Mumbai, and Nikhil also shifted from Delhi. This city shaped our dreams for a great life together and professionally, too. We have designed E-Invites for our guests and wish to go paperless keeping in mind the environment theme. The card will portray our journey and the themed beach wedding, too. The card is specially designed so that minute details of the wedding are included. My Godmother has also contributed to the card by incorporating a quote from the Bible. I am so happy that the wedding invite is planned in an extremely creative manner.”
Tina and Nikhil met on the sets of their TV show Ek Aastha Aise Bhee where the two played siblings. The two connected well and started dating.
It will be a catholic wedding for the TV stars and Tina’s family priest from Bangalore will solemnise the wedding in a Juhu restaurant facing beach as the gorgeous actress always wanted a combination of sky, sea and land for her nuptials.
The wedding will be followed by a reception after the ceremony. A traditional Hindu ceremony on April 8 is also on cards most likely at Haridwar’s Ganga ghat. If that doesn’t work out the couple might arrange their Hindu wedding in either Delhi or Mumbai.
According to reports Tina will wear a white ballroom gown at her wedding while the groom will sport a grey tuxedo. For their Hindu wedding, the actress will wow in a red lehenga while Nikhil will be seen in a sherwani.
