Though Vidya by her own admission has never been fond of cooking and considered it a symbol of domestication, the National Award winning actress has made an exception in these extraordinary times and entered the kitchen to experiment with cooking.
Surprising, she found herself enjoying the process to the core.
In one of the videos, the Kahaani star is seen preparing perfect modaks. She first prepares the dough in a pan and is anxious whether the modaks will turn out up to her expectations.
Vidya then is seen giving them shape with her hands being extra careful and eager to perfect them. Take a look at the pictures and videos.
The actress has also been spending her quarantine time cleaning her house and doing other household chores.
“I always saw cooking as a symbol of domestication, but in the lockdown it was a new discovery.” says Vidya Balan.
