New Delhi: Khatron Ke Khiladi for the first time will hit your small screens in a never-seen-before desi avatar. The special edition of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India will feature star Khiladis from previous seasons such as Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Harsh Limbachiyaa, Karan Patel, Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Aly Goni and Jay Bhanushali.
The show for the first time will be shot in India involving highly skilled local Indian crew. The season will be hosted by Rohit Shetty while filmmaker Farah Khan will be helming the curtain raiser episode in her trademark style.
The desi avatar of the show will be served with a twist of Bollywood and will have ‘Khiladis’ from the previous seasons competing once again with each other and unlocking their biggest fears.
“I have done almost all reality shows in the country, but I never thought I would do Khatron Ke Khiladi. I am thankful to Rohit Shetty for recommending me as he will be away for the first weekend. I am excited to be a part of the show as my father used to make stunt films and I have action in my films too. However, unlike Rohit, I am not daring enough to do my own stunts. But I am looking forward to having a great time and encouraging the contestants to face their phobias,” said Farah Khan.
In the new edition there will be interesting elements having Bollywood flavor and an eclectic mix of former contestants.
The just-concluded tenth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi shot in Bulgaria was won by TV beauty Karishma Tanna who took home prize money of Rs 20 lakh apart from the trophy and a car. Karan Patel and Dharmesh Yelande stood second and third respectively.
