New Delhi: Sonu Sood, who proved to be no less than a messiah for migrant workers as he helped them reach their destination by providing transport and food, will be the first guest on The Kapil Sharma Show.
The shoot of the show has resumed post lockdown which is a big relief for Kapil’s fans who were missing their weekly dose of entertainment.
In the show, Sonu Sood will be talking about his experience with the migrant workers and working on an app that will ensure jobs for these workers. The actor also shared light hearted moments with Kapil on the show.
Sonu Sood will also get emotional as host Kapil will surprise him with heartfelt videos of migrant workers praying for his “lambi umra” and thanking him for reuniting them with their families.
Kapil is expected to invite more corona warriors in the coming weeks. The comedian had in an interview in May said that he’s deeply grateful to the people who have been relentlessly working to fight Corona and would like to welcome them to his show.
The Kapil Sharma Show returns on August 1 at 9:30 PM on Sony TV.
