New Delhi: Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain who’s known for mostly working in mythological shows is still fondly remembered for his role as Lord Krishna on Star Plus’s Mahabharat, which proved to be a life changing show and character for the actor.
The actor who started his television journey with Remix in 2004 as Aman Deep also played Lord Vishnu in Mohit Raina’s Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. He also played Lord Shiva in Mahakali-Ant Hi Aarambh Hai recently. TV buffs must have seen him in Patiala Babes too as Neil.
His show Mahabharat that premiered in 2013 has completed 7 years today. Sourabh went down the memory lane on social media with a lovely picture of himself as ‘Lord Krishna’ from the show, along with a heartfelt caption expressing gratitude and love for it.

While the show did very well in its time not only on Indian television but on other channels in other languages and mediums as well, it was aired once again in the lockdown not once, but twice on special demand by the viewers. The actor got an overwhelmingly response even now, just like he had the first time around.
Lockdown time has proved that Mahabharat and certain golden shows of the Indian Television will live forever in the hearts of the viewers.
