New Delhi: Hina Khan is one of the most popular faces on Indian Television today with the immense popularity of her shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Naagin 5, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss 11.
The actress is currently part of Bigg Boss 14 as senior and one of the brightest stars of Bigg Boss universe. She is enjoying the privileges and facilities of being a senior along with Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan and has been made in charge of personal belongings of the freshers i.e. this season’s contestants.
Among Bigg Boss 14’s contestants is reality show star Rahul Vaidya who became a big name after the first season of Indian Idol even though he was the second runners up. Vaidya apart from playback singing also keeps busy doing shows across the globe and singing at weddings.
Like Vaidya, Hina Khan too dreamed of becoming a singer as everyone knows the beautiful voice she has. In fact, Hina years ago auditioned for singing reality show Indian Idol and ended up in Top 30 singers in Delhi auditions.
In a candid conversation with Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya, Hina revealed how back in her college days in Delhi on the insistence of a couple of friends, Hina had auditioned for a competition related to the show at one of the malls where Rahul who had just wrapped up his own Indian Idol season was a special guest, and had selected her as the winner.
Speaking about their mutual love for singing and how Hina had managed to make it to the top 30 in Delhi of Indian Idol back then, Rahul and Hina shared a lovely nostalgic conversation about the memory that had connected them together so many years ago.
Inspite of Hina being one of the most prominent seniors on Bigg Boss 14 at the moment, she was very eager to share the memory with Rahul, and even told him about how excited she was to receive the prize from him for the competition. Her humble and grounded nature was warmly welcomed by Rahul who very appreciative of Hina’s sweet gesture.
