Shadow and Bone to premiere on Netflix in April 2021
It’s official. The screen adaptation of Grisha trilogy written by Leigh Bardugo is all set to premiere in April 2021. It is based on both Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows by Bardugo
Shadow and Bone is an upcoming fantasy television series developed by Eric Heisserer and 21 Laps Entertainment for Netflix scheduled to premiere in April 2021. It is based on overlapping book series Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.
“The books are all set chronologically, so we technically don’t get to events in the Six of Crows books until after the Shadow and Bone books have ended. So what Leigh and I had to do was essentially invent prequel stories for the key Six of Crows characters this season — Kaz, Inej, and Jesper — to fit alongside what is happening in the Shadow and Bone storyline. That’s been the heavy lifting,” showrunner Eric Heisserer said in the statemen
Shadow and Bone stars newcomer Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Ben Barnes as General Kirigan, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev, Amita Suman as Inej, and Kit Young as Jesper Fahey.

Arjun Mathur prepping up for Made in Heaven 2
Arjun Mathur, who played the role of Delhi based wedding planner Karan Mehra in Amazon Prime Video’s Made in Heaven has started getting back in shape for the second season.
The actor has been following a strict diet and workout regime, which had gone for a toss due to Covid induced lockdown. Arjun is a fan of mixing up his workout routines with a bit of functional and weight training. And now since gyms have reopened, he is finally getting the chance to get back to an active lifestyle.
Talking about his fitness routine, he said, “Other than readings, trials, look-tests and discussions that will be taking place, my prep for this character mainly involves extensive physical training. So for now, I am just working on my physical fitness with my trainer Samir Jaura, who’s quite possibly the best we have and helps sculpt the best physiques in the business. I am mainly focusing on weight training, but my workout also consists of cardio, functional and High Interval Intensity Training known as the HIIT. After a whole year of ‘anything goes’, I am glad to now be on a very strict and disciplined diet from now until I finish filming Made in Heaven 2.”
Earlier, Made in Heaven 2 was slated to go on the floors in April 2020. But the schedules had to be halted due to the pandemic. The show starred Arjun, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi in lead roles.
Do Not Disturb returns for its second season on MX Player
Gujarati web series Do Not Disturb starring Manasi Parekh Gohil and Malhar Thakar will reprise their roles as Meera and Maulik respectively as the series returns for a second season.
Season 1 of the series allowed viewers to peek into their marriage through a keyhole, and this second edition gives you a peek into the infamous 7-year glitch! Maulik and Meera are unaware of what is going to hit them, now that their marriage is 7 years old. A classic in between, not too young and not too old – this couple too is on the verge of chaos featuring identity crisis, desires, societal pressures and the need to reinvent themselves, while still having fun.
Speaking about the same, Manasi Parekh Gohil said, “It’s the love that we’ve received from the viewers that has brought Maulik and Meera back again. We are so thrilled to have a season 2 of ‘Do Not Disturb’. With their marriage completing 7 years, Maulik & Meera’s relationship is neither too old now, nor too young. From getting on a strict health regime to bringing the oomph back, the audiences will have a lot of exciting drama to watch out for in this edition of the show.”
Malhar Thakar said, “Our jodi has been a super hit in the film Golkeri and teaming up again with Manasi, along with director, Sandeep Patel has been an absolute pleasure. 7 is considered to be a special number and with Meera and Maulik completing 7 years in their relationship, there is so much more in store for the viewers. Barring all the other ‘disturbances’, this season will see a rollercoaster of emotions cloud their life along with the challenges that a seven-year long marriage brings up.”
