New Delhi: There is not a single brother or sister who hasn’t fought with his/her siblings at some point or the other. Shilpa Shetty is no exception. The actress who’s currently the judge of Sony TV’s Super Dancer Chapter 4 revealed that she and her sister Shamita used to fight quite frequently, but missed each other when apart.
“Shamita and I used to fight a lot, maybe because of the age gap. As a kid, there was not a single thing that I may have not used to throw at Shamita,” chuckles Shilpa.
Staying apart from Shamita for three months made Shilpa realise how much she misses her company.
“Both my father and mother used to go to work, so there was a time when my mother sent me to my Nani’s house and those three months, I missed Shamita a lot,” says the Dhadkan actress.
The actress went down the memory lane after Mumbai contestant Aneesh Tattikota and choreographer Akash Shetty gave a breathtaking performance on the remixed track of Allah Duhai Hai from Race 2 and later on host Rithvik made a video call to his elder brother. Aneesh and his brother revealed many of their secrets, and got engaged in a fun banter, which made judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra recall some of her own childhood memories, especially her experience of growing up with her younger sister Shamita.
“I think because of this show, Aneesh and his brother will start missing each other. And as they say, distance make the hearts grow fonder.” said Shilpa. Judge Anurag Basu who also shared his childhood memories with his brother Abhishek and how they share a quintessential siblings’ bond and banter.
Super Dancer – Chapter 4 recently got its ‘Super 13’ contestants of the season. The show airs on weekends Saturday and Sunday at 8PM on Sony TV.
