Gurgaon: Thousands of families have been going through unspeakable pain as the deadly second wave of Covid-19 continues to take heavy toll on lives on daily basis.
Amid the devastation and gloom, everyone has a prayer in his heart for the crisis to end and return of normal times.
In its bid to spread positivity and give strength to those affected by the pandemic, Kamdhenu Gowdham organised a Havan in its premises near Gurgaon. The founders of the charitable trust, Dr SP Gupta and Mrs Shashi Gupta, made the offerings for the departed souls and prayed for well-being of the people at large.
During the havan programme, tributes were offered to the Founder trustee of the Sansthan, renowned philanthropist and founder of Tulip Group Subhash Chandra Jain.
As many persons associated with the Gowdhan connected virtually to join the havan, the founders of the Trust also paid homage to Gaurav Jindal, Kapoor Chand Mittal, Kamlesh Goel, Banwari Lal Mittal, Ashish Gupta and Sushil Kumar Bansal who departed for the heavenly abode in the past few weeks.
Tributes were also offered to all other persons who lost their life due to Coronavirus.
Havan programme was held following Covid guidelines with dozens of people joining the monthly ritual through Facebook Live. A group prayer was made for early end of the pandemic.
Led by former IAS officer Dr SP Gupta, Kamdhenu Gowdham has been promoting cow-based agricultural economy. It produces a range of products made from panchgavya and makes them available at reasonable rates.
