Kamdhenu Gowdham holds prayer for people affected by pandemic

People from across the country joined the havan and prayer meeting through Facebook Live. Oblations and tributes were offered to all the persons who have lost their lives.

It is said that faith and prayer begin where science and medicine end. Prayers are considered powerful instrument to heal, both mentally and physically, and now it has been established in numerous psychological studies.

In the ongoing pandemic times when almost the entire population is at grave health risk, prayers could certainly ease people’s suffering and bring positivity in their lives.

Charitable public trust Kamdhenu Gowdham has been regularly organising havans and prayer meetings for health and well-being of the people. It held its monthly Havan programme on the outskirts of Gurugram on Sunday to offer prayers for all those affected by the deadly virus.

“Prayer was done for Dr Pawan Kumar Ji (Member, Haryana Public Service Commission), Shri Praveen Jain Ji (CMD, Tulip Group) and Shri Prem Prakash Gupta Ji (CMD, Supreme Auto), Founder Trustees, Kamdhenu Arogya Sansthan and all the people affected by the corona pandemic for their fullest and earliest recovery,” Kamdhenu Gowdham’s Founder Dr SP Gupta said.

Dr Gupta who earlier served at key positions in state as well as central government has been organising yagnas, havans and prayers for years with top spiritual leaders gracing the events.

As physical meetings and functions are not possible due to highly infectious corona virus pandemic, havans and prayers are now being organised virtually. People from across the country joined the havan and prayer meeting from across the country through Facebook Live.

“Oblations and tributes were offered to the late soul Smt. Santosh Kumari Ji, Shri RK Verma Ji, and Shri Ravinder Kumar Garg Ji who passed away during the Corona pandemic. Oblations and tributes were offered to all the persons who lost their life due to the pandemic,” said Dr Gupta.

In the havan on Sunday, sacred offerings were made by Dr Gupta, along with his wife Smt. Shashi Gupta, Smt. Usha Garg, Senior Vice President of Kamdhenu Arogya Sansthan for the devotees having birthdays, marriage anniversaries, and death commemoration during the month of May 2021 and for Corona Warriors.

Havan was done with the cow-based products like cow-dung cakes, ghee, havan materials and samidha among others.
