Kolkata: The old students of the prestigious Hindu College added yet another fun-filled day to their memory. At the eagerly-awaited alumni meet, the old grads indulged in rounds of golf and enjoyed the feast.
Organised at the Tollygunge Club, the re-union saw enthusiastic alumni participation. The golf tournament on the occasion brought together golf enthusiasts from all over the country.
The three-day congregation organised by the Eastern India Chapter of the Old Students Association (OSA) of Hindu College saw the alumni catching up with old friends and reminiscing about their college days.
The reunion started with a golf tournament, followed by a dinner hosted by the alumni based in Kolkata on the second day.
The second day was marked by an Alumni Dinner hosted by Kuldip Singh Dhingra, a successful entrepreneur and Chairman of Berger Paints, who is also an alumnus of Hindu College.
The President of OSA, Mr. Ravi Burman, expressed his delight at the turnout for the reunion.
“”We are thrilled to see such an incredible turnout for this event. It’s heartwarming to see our alumni come together to celebrate the memories and connections they formed at Hindu College. The golf tournament not only provides a fun opportunity for them to reconnect but also serves as a platform for them to give back to their alma mater. We are grateful for their continued support and look forward to future events like these,” he said.
The reunion event provided the alumni with an opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and with each other. The Eastern India Chapter of the OSA plans to organize more such events in the future, to keep the Hindu College alumni strong and connected.

Arun Kumar Sahni, PVSM, UYSM, SM, VSM; Anil Bhargava, president of Bengal Golf Association; Dhanbir Singh Bains, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Chandigarh; Sree Menon, former President, Tollygunge Club and Capt Ravi Dey, Former Captain of Tollygunge Club.
