New Delhi: In one of the biggest wedding celebration of 2026, Vijay Deverakonda married Rashmika Mandanna in an intimate ceremony on February 26, 2026 as per Telugu traditions. The Geeta Govindam couple exchanged wedding vows in a pictursque resort in Udaipur on February 26, 2026.
The duo looked picture perfect as Rashmika looked ethereal in a custom rust orange saree with bold red and antique gold border and traditional gold jewellery and Vijay looked graceful in custom Anamika Khanna – ivory Dhoti paired with a vivid vermillion angavastram.
Hours after their wedding at 10:10 am on Thursday, Vijay took to social media to share the much-awaited wedding pictures that immediately sent social media into a tizzy. The snaps accompanied a deeply personal message that almost read like poetry.

How the wedding festivities unfolded
The wedding took place at the luxury resort ITC Mementos in Udaipur, with close family members and friends in attendance.
According to reports, the couple honoured their diverse cultural backgrounds by hosting two traditional ceremonies — a Telugu Hindu wedding in the morning celebrating Vijay’s heritage and a Kodava (Coorg) ceremony in the evening in line with Rashmika’s cultural roots.
Sources say the mornings were filled with sacred rituals and traditional blessings, while the evening celebration embraced Kodava customs.
Star-studded yet intimate: The guests and festivities
Though the couple chose to keep the affair intimate, a close circle of friends from the film industry joined the celebration. Among those spotted were director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, actor-director Tharun Bhascker, and others from Telugu and South cinema.
Pre-wedding festivities included music, dancing and heartfelt moments including a memorable sangeet night and traditions such as Vijay’s mother gifting heirloom bangles to Rashmika during celebrations. In a sweet post-ceremony gesture, the couple’s team even distributed sweets to paparazzi and media members outside the venue.
Vijay and Rashmika’s relationship was long speculated before their official union. The duo first met on the set of Geetha Govindam, where they starred together and quickly garnered unforgettable on-screen chemistry.
Their bond grew stronger during the filming of Dear Comrade, and though both remained private about their personal lives for years, fans rooted for the pairing affectionately dubbed “Virosh.” The couple reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony in October 2025 in Hyderabad.
