Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) is a man on a mission, more than the Family Man we saw in Episode 1, and does some quick thinking in Episode 2 to swiftly reach an important clue to the terror plot that threatens to put India and Pakistan at war.

In Episode 1, we saw how three terrorists nabbed on their way to Kochi escape from the police custody, and two of them get killed in the process by cops. Srikant sweet talks the third one called Moosa (Neeraj Madhav) into surrender by playing an emotional card and in Episode 2 gets an important clue from him.

Episode 1 ends on a cliffhanger with a masked man leaving a scooter with a bomb in a crowded place and a school girl moving in its direction.

In Episode 2, a member of bomb defusing squad successfully diffuses the bomb in the scooter but just when the TASC agents are heaving a sigh of relief, the bomb goes off. The unsuccessful mission irritates Srikant and he decides to trust the human instinct rather than the tracking machines.

Soon, the TASC team spearheaded by Srikant nabs three computer engineers behind the scooter blast who after some smart interrogation by Srikant reveal that a 20-something guy staying in Victoria College hostel might be behind the bomb blast.

In middle of all this mess, Srikant manages to stop his daughter’s suspension in his own way. But their children is not the only concern for Srikant’s wife Suchita (Priyamani) who is also frustrated with her teaching job and wants to dabble into something new, but is unable to pursue her dreams because of Srikant’s busy schedule.

Srikant has of course no time to think about his family for now as his duty towards nation is overpowering the family man in him.

As in the first episode, Manoj Bajpayee nails the episode with a mix of emotions only a veteran like him is capable of pulling off. His stress face, his helpless face, his manipulative face and his menacing face are all so different from each other that you don’t realize sometimes they belong to the same person.

Suchi’s frustration can be understood considering she doesn’t know the nature of her husband’s job. But her restlessness and impatience might lead her to take a step in the direction which would prove to be dangerous for their family life.
