New Delhi: After a dull season, Bigg Boss 13 has left no stone unturned to spice up things. The grand premiere episode of the show managed to keep audiences glued to their screens for almost 2 hours as host Salman Khan unravelled one twist after the other.
Although viewers had some idea about the contestants mix, thanks to the many leaked lists published by websites–and there are some big names from the world of entertainment–the real twist of Bigg Boss 13 is the fast-paced format of the show that will ensure drama from Day 1.
The BB13 house is high on woman power this time with 8 out of 13 beauties set to rule the house and half of them being TV bahus. Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai, Aarti Singh, Daljiet Kaur so far have been known as bharatiya naaris in their TV soaps. Koena Mitra, Mahira Sharma, Shehnaaz Gill, Shefali Bagga are others from girl gang. The women contestants also get to decide the fate of male contestants in the house.
Bigg Boss 13 is tedah and touted to be unpredictable. Things can change at any time in these 15 weeks of game and the pressure to survive in the game will be there from the very first day as the first finale of the show will take place after a month. There are five male contestants in total–Sidharth Shukla (actor) , Abu Malik (Anu Malik’s brother), Siddharth Dey (writer), Paras Chhabra (reality TV star) and Asim Riaz. They are required to share household duties like kitchen, bedroom, living room etc with female contestants and the one with minimum duties faces a disadvantage in the house.
While Sidharth Shukla ended up with maximum duties, Abu Malik got the least responsibilities.
Contestants this time are being micro-managed by Bigg Boss as even the bed partners are pre-decided and contestants have no free will in it. Rashami was visibly uncomfortable with the arrangement and was seen discussing her concerns with Sidharth.
Bigg Boss 13 this time also has a Splitsvilla twist which probably nobody had imagined. The contestants will have to make a special connection and the one who fails to make it is at the risk of elimination.
The action will start from Day 1. And if you are wondering what Ameesha Patel is doing in Bigg Boss 13, then here is the update. The Bollywood beauty is the maalkin of the house and will be the female boss (maalkin) in addition to Bigg Boss.
A preview clip shows her assigning a task to contestants who had to work really hard to secure ration items for their kitchen.
The game has just begun and by the looks of it, viewers might be gearing for the most entertaining season of the year.
