New Delhi: Bhumi Pednekar who gained extra kilos to play an overweight woman for her debut movie Dum Lagake Haisha is once again impressing the viewers with her transformation in Saand Ki Aankh where she plays a 60-something ace shooter Chandro Tomar.
Bhumi tries to make each of her character realistic by adding real life references to it. The talented actress recently visited The Kapil Sharma Show along with Taapsee Pannu to promote Saand Ki Aankh and made some interesting revelations.
“I am a method actor and I usually do practical to perfectly fit in the role. It is true that I was actually cleaning houses in my building to understand the routine of a maid,” said Bhumi during the show.
Sharing more about her experience in the movie Bhumi shares, “We have done a lot of amusing things for the character. We had to smoke hukkah to portray the village ambience. Gobar ke uple banaye, kachra saaf kiya… and the list is endless. We did this for real and not just for acting.”
Saand Ki Aankh releases today, while the special episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Taapsee and Bhumi will air this weekend.
