New Delhi: What happens when your finally get the Good Newwz you were waiting for months, but are appalled with the twist that it brings along? That’s what the Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer is all about.

Kumar and Kapoor play Varun and Deepti Batra who are trying for a baby on a war footing having realized that they need to become parents before it’s too late. They try every trick, but fail, and finally decide to go to an infertility clinic where the doctor suggests them to undergo IVF.

They happily agree, unaware of what’s lying in store for them. Enter Honey and Monika Batra played by Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani respectively. They too have the surname Batra, the primary root for the confusion to begin in the first place, and they too have come to the same infertility clinic for IVF.

The trailer reveals how the reproductive journey of the two Batra couples get entangled with each other after the doctor informs the four that there had been a sperm mix-up due to which Kareena and Kiara now carry each other’s husband’s child.

As much as suave and urban Kareena and Akshay hate the idea of mingling with the desi couple Diljit and Kiara, they are left with no option but to include them in their lives.

All the four actors Kareena, Akshay, Diljit and Kiara get into the skin of their characters effortlessly and viewers can relate to their predicament.

By the looks of it, Good Newws seems like a light-hearted comedy that revolves around sperm Golmaal and is sure to tickle the fans of the confusion comedy genre.
