New Delhi: Kajol has done numerous memorable roles in her career spanning over two decades, but nothing can beat her most iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge where she played the role of Simran.

Raj and Simran’s iconic train scene where a strict patriarch Amrish Puri lets her daughter Simran join her love of life, has been replicated in many Bollywood films. Kajol was recently on the sets of dance reality show Dance Plus 5 to promote her upcoming film Tanhaji along with husband and co-star Ajay Devgn.

A contestant Bhim mesmerised the couple with his performance and on his special request, Kajol agreed to recreate the ‘Jaa Simran, Jaa’ moment with him.

Remo played Bauji (played by Amrish Puri in the fil) and captain Punit Pathak lent his baritone for the thunderous dialogue.

On listening to the dialogue, Kajol said, “Mujhe ek minute ke liye laga ki Amrish Ji sach mein aa gaye hain (laughs).”

Kajol then ran in slow motion towards Bhim, who pretended to be waiting for her in a moving train and also serenaded his Senorita with a ‘Bade Bade Deshon Mein..’.

Another highlight from the evening was when a shy and unromantic Ajay Devgn gave a huge bouquet of flowers to his better half as she looked gorgeous and stunning. A surprised Kajol said that Ajay has never been so romantic or given her flowers and this gesture from him was the highlight of the day for her.

That’s not all, Kajol also grooved to Ruk Ja Ae Dil Deewane from DDLJ with another contestant Rupesh who made the request after giving an impeccable performance.

In awe of his dance style, the actor gleefully accepted his request and danced with him. Seeing Kajol perform the dance moves effortlessly, everyone on the sets including the contestants, the judges and captains couldn’t stop themselves from admiring her talent.
