New Delhi: Actress Anangsha Biswas who played the role of Zarina in Mirzapur and will soon be back on screen with Mirzapur 2 as a lead actress and Hostages Season 2 is excited about the release of the upcoming season of Amazon Prime Video series.
The makers have wrapped up the work on Mirzapur 2 but they are yet to zero in on a release date. While waiting for Mirzapur 2 release Anangsha Biswas is also missing her co-stars.
“I am extremely thrilled about Mirzapur 2 and I can’t wait to binge-watch it myself,” said the actress.
Anangsha gets along well with her Mirzapur co-stars and is especially all praises for Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi.
“I have known Ali since my theatre days. He is an incredible actor and is not afraid of experimenting and a real nice guy. Pankaj Sir is such a humble, simple, hardworking person. He has no air whatsoever about himself. I was very fortunate to share the screen space with him. There is so much to learn from him. I am inspired by him and I’d like to imbibe the virtue of being simple and humble no matter the achievements,” said Anangsha.
Mirzapur Season 1 premiered on November 16, 2018 and was received well by the viewers but thrashed by critics. It told the story of two brothers Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Bablu (Vikrant Massey), who get embroiled in the world of drugs, guns and violence after they come in contact with Munna (Divyendu Sharma), the son of Mafia boss Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi)and that changes their life forever.
