New Delhi: As part of celebrations around International Women’s Day, state-run mini-ratna company RailTel organised interactive sessions on skincare and nutrition for healthy living.
Experts from city-based Ganga Ram Hospital joined the sessions aimed at benefitting the female employees. Dr Sumit Gupta, associate consultant in dermatology, and Ms Mukta Vashisht, consultant dietician shared expert advice.
RailTel celebrated International Women’s Day at its corporate office in New Delhi as well as regional offices across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, RailTel Chairman and Managing Director Sanjai Kumar said that India has been at the forefront in recognizing the contribution of women in building society and nation.
“The women’s workforce at RailTel has been at the forefront of all activities of the company and has excelled in achieving desired goals. I wish them all success,” Mr Kumar said.
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year to highlight issues concerning women’s rights, equality, and violence against women. The aim of this day is to not only highlight women’s issues but also to encourage and unite everyone in advocating for gender equality.
