Come September 29, and Bigg Boss 13 would be back with more spice and more action than ever before.
After the failure of the last season, the upcoming installment is expected to be high on speed, drama and controversies. No wonder the telecast slot of the weekday episodes this time has been shifted from 9 PM to 10:30 PM, while the weekend episodes with Salman Khan will continue to air on 9 PM.
The latest trailer of Bigg Boss 13 sees Salman Khan as chef as he cooks a tasty khichdi expecting contestant to spread the raita. The Bollywood superstar is hosting the show for the tenth consecutive time.
Bigg Boss 13 is undergoing a complete overhaul from the house’s location, contestant mix to format.
What’s new?
Contestants will reach grand finale in a month’s time instead of last week of the show, which is happening for the first time.
The house location has shifted from Lonavla to Mumbai unlike the previous many installments.
Contestants mix
There will be no commoner contestants this time around and it will be an all celebrity season. Furthermore, the contestants will be divided into two groups– ghosts and players.
Ghosts will be tasked to guard their identity and in turn stop players from entering the house. Players on the other hand will have to unmask the ghosts to ensure their entry.
Salman to decide eviction for the first time
For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss, host Salman Khan will decide who will step out of the show first. He would also be deciding the second week nomination.
Bigg Boss 13 has returned to its usual slot–Mon-Fri 10:30 PM and Sat-Sun 9PM. In the last season (Bigg Boss 12), the prime time slot didn’t work in show’s favour as the makers couldn’t show controversial stuff. The ardent fans of Bigg Boss criticised the show for its drab content which resulted in low TRPs.
Bigg Boss 11 on the other hand was at its spiciest best as contestants like Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde, Arshi Khan, Akash Dadlani and others won viewers’ hearts with their antics and unique personalities.
