Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned 69 today and an announcement will make the day even more special to him. Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to make a film on the Prime Minister titled Mann Bairagi, the first look of which has been released today by South superstar Prabhas. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has also shared the poster on his Twitter timeline.

Mann Bairagi is based on the turning point in PM Modi’s life as a young man, a story which is not in the public domain yet.

“What interested me in the story was its universal appeal and message. The story was very well researched and the turning point of our PM’s life, as a young man, really intrigued me. I felt that it’s a story that is unheard of and needs to be told,” Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who’s known for making films like Devdas, Black, and Bajirao Mastani, told The Times of India.

The film will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mahaveer Jain and written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy.

Earlier this year, another film on the Indian Prime Minister, titled PM Narendra Modi, directed by Omung Kumar and starring Vivek Anand Oberoi hit the theatres. Also, a web series on PM titled Modi: Journey of a Common Man, directed by Umesh Shukla showcases his journey from his childhood to his entry into politics.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently scrapped Salman Khan and Ali Bhatt’s Inshallah reportedly due to creative differences with Khan.
