Shweta Tiwari on spending time in quarantine: Staying at home is a blessing

Shweta Tiwari is making the most of the lockdown time reading books, listening to her favourite tracks and spending time with family and kids.

New Delhi: Shweta Tiwari who’s a workaholic in normal situation is enjoying being a homebird to the core in this lockdown period due to coronavirus pandemic. The actress who’s currently playing Guneet Sikka in Sony TV’s Mere Dad Ki Dulhan is making the most of the quarantine time at home reading books, listening to her favourite tracks and spending time with family and kids.

While many people might be feeling low due to the fear and panic surrounding Covid-2019 and restless being homebound, Shweta Tiwari says staying at home for her is not boring.

“Staying at home is never a boring task, in fact it’s a blessing. Also it’s how you view it. You can switch to doing things that you always wanted to, but never got the time to do it. Whether it is reading books, writing, honing a skill, helping in cooking meals, working out, pursuing your hobbies to spending time with kids and family, or simply just catching up on sleep. Personally, I love reading and even listing to classics. So I am listening to some beautiful old tracks and reading a lot of books, which gives me a sense of peace,” said the actress.

Shweta Tiwari advises people to stay at home and help curb the spread of the deadly disease.

“Our aim is to be safe and secure and keep our loved one’s also safe. With CoVid 19 affecting people globally at a fast speed, we have to take care of ourselves by staying at home and breaking the chain. We must do our bit for what it takes to stop this pandemic and take the necessary precautions,” added the actress.

Shweta Tiwari shot to fame with her role of Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and went on to do many popular shows like Parvarish, Begusarai among others. She also recently made her digital debut with Hum Tum Aur Them opposite Akshay Oberoi.
