New Delhi: Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are all set to reunite on screen with their latest web series Dangerous, a pacy thriller which will start streaming on MX Player August 14 onwards. The actress loves to feature in mystery/supernatural/thriller projects and is absolutely ‘thrilled’ to make a comeback in the favourite genre.
Besides the actress is also looking forward to be seen on screen with husband Karan Singh Grover for the second time after the two set the screen on fire with their chemistry in horror film Alone.
“Thrillers make for a perfect canvas for an actor – there’s so much to emote, be it drama, action, romance, fear and that’s what really pulls me towards this genre. I also believe that this genre is enjoyed by audiences because it makes you feel like you’re a part of the process, trying to solve the mystery in your head. While I enjoy other genres as well, thrillers have always been special for me and Dangerous even more so – I love the fact that I could act with Karan again and collaborate with Vikram, Bhushan and Mika on this project,” said the actress.
Produced by Mika Singh and Vikram Bhatt, the series traces the journey of a young entrepreneur Aditya Dhranraj (Karan Singh Grover) whose life changes when his wife gets kidnapped and what happens when his ex-lover Neha (Bipasha Basu) is sent on-ground to handle the case and find the kidnapper.
The web series is written by Vikram Bhatt and directed by Bhushan Patel and also sees Suyyash Rai, Sonali Raut, Natasha Suri and Nitin Arora in pivotal roles.
