Depending on varied moods, different kinds of thoughts rise in our mind. On occasions of celebrations, we are elated and full of happy thoughts. Similarly, when the mood is sad, negative and pessimistic thoughts rise in the mind. In times of crisis or challenging situations, the thought pattern is different.

Human mind is a reservoir of such thoughts. Many of us keep them organised while majority of people are lazy enough to not arrange them. The result is that while the former uses these thoughts to their advantage, the latter group remains clueless. They become restless and run to friends and relatives for advice when faced with adversity. While the fact is that they faced similar situations in the past but could not keep the wisdom learnt from it for future use.

In life, there is a pattern and certain events of similar nature keep repeating and one must realize this. The point is not to forget these patterns but keep it in a corner of a mind. If we could just learn the process of organising these experiences or thoughts in the mind for future use, we could reduce our miseries to a great extent.

We keep buying various household and necessary items from the market but we are unlikely to use them when they are needed if we do not keep them at a designated place. In all likelihood we will not get it if our house is not organised and goods are not kept at proper place. The same rules apply to our thoughts.

Many times we forget the lessons learnt from a painful experience because we do not want to go back to the memory. However, while the trauma or pain associated with the experience might be forgotten, the wisdom or lesson learnt from the same can be applied in life situations so that the future sufferings can be handled in a much better way.
