New Delhi: Bigg Boss 14, the sumptuous khichdi of all seasons, featuring a mix of original, wild-card and old contestants was unique in its own way, but yet did not manage to impress in totality. The Top 5 finalists has one original contestant (Rubina Dilaik), two re-entrants (Rahul and Nikki), one wild card entry (Aly Goni) and one challenger (Rakhi Sawant).
The never-ending, sometime stretched like a rubber band season, sometimes entertained and the other times tested patience of its ardent followers. It is finally coming to an end with the grand finale, and what better time to mesmerize the viewers with some breathtaking performances.

1. Rubina-Rahul’s rivalry: Like every season, Bigg Boss 14 too had fights, arguments, and patch-ups. But the one rivalry that consistently stayed and entertained was between Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya, both favourites to win the season. The two in their final days in the house are trying to bury the hatchet but get some or the other reason to attack each other. In their grand finale performance, their expressions say all about their journey together in one house.

2. Aly-Jasmin’s smouldering romance: Definitely one of the best love stories that ever developed in Bigg Boss. Jasmin entered the house first and Aly came in later as wild card to support her. They were best of friends. Perhaps they were yet to realise their true feelings for each other. As the show progressed, they came to know what they really feel for each other. When Jasmin was getting evicted, Aly sobbed like a baby and even host Salman Khan couldn’t control his tears. It is during that moment when they said ‘I love you’ to each other on national television for the first time. The most emotional eviction ever! For their grand finale performance, they literally set the stage on fire with their sizzling romance.

3. Aly-Rahul’s dosti: The only true friendship that developed in this season. Aly and Rahul got closer after Rahul’s re-entry and supported each other throughout. While they have reached finale together, only one or none of them could lift the trophy but their fans hope their friendship continues to grow strong outside the house.

4. Rakhi and Julie’s entertaining performance: Rakhi Sawant is perhaps the only contestant who appeared in the first and fourteenth season of the show and went on to become finalist. Like always, she courted controversies this time around too as she crossed her line with Abhinav Shukla. She however brought a new flavour to the show with her re-entry and was loved by the viewers. Her Julie act especially was quite entertaining. In her grand finale performance, no wonder Julie was given as much space as Rakhi.
