New Delhi: Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath got a very special gift two days before their first wedding anniversary. The couple got blessed with a baby girl in the wee hours of Tuesday (December 10).
An excited Kapil who is on a leave from his show The Kapil Sharma Show to be with his wife and daughter shared the news on social media.
“Blessed to have a baby girl. Need ur blessings. Love u all. Jai mata di,” Kapil wrote on Twitter.
On his first anniversary, the popular comedian took the opportunity to thank his fans for showering their love and blessing to the couple and their daughter.
“Today, on our first anniversary me and Ginni take an opportunity to thank all of you for all the love & blessings you have showered on us and our little one. Can’t thank God enough for blessing us with the best gift of our life.Truly Grateful. #gratitude,” wrote Kapil Sharma.

Kapil and Ginni tied the knot in two ceremonies on December 12 last year. The couple got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in and then a Sikh ceremony in Jalandhar. The comedian later threw a star-studded reception in Amritsar and a grander one in Mumbai.
Kapil and Ginni are college sweethearts and never dated considering their families were conservative. The comedian was rumoured to be dating the creative director of his show Preeti Simoes earlier but things didn’t work out between them.
