New Delhi: After a successful first season, Ishq Mein Marjawaan is back with a brand new season and cast post lockdown. The show that was announced before lockdown has now resumed shooting and will launch on July 13.
Starring Helly Shah and Vishal Vashisht in the lead the show revolves around Riddhima (Helly Shah) who falls in love with Kabir (Vishal Vashisht). Her dream of being with Kabir comes crashing down when he asks her to make a life changing sacrifice.
The show’s lead Helly Shah talked about her experience of shooting in Goa before the lockdown, ahead of its release. The cast had visited Goa for 5 days to shoot a few important sequences for the show.
The scenes were shot in the middle of the sea on the popular Jalesh Cruise. Interestingly, it has been a long time that any television serial has been shot on a cruise.
Helly Shah says, βI was surfing through my phone and came across these amazing photos from the time we shot in Goa on Jalesh Cruise. The experience was absolutely surreal and something we all cherish even now. This lockdown taught us to value each and every experience of our life and our travels especially. These memories are so precious that even now on the set, we remember it every day. Even though it was a great experience, I had some difficulty adjusting to life on sea. I have extreme sea sickness and it took me a couple of days to get used to this, but I am happy that I sailed through it and I could give some great shots.β
The show like its predecessor promises to be a roller coaster ride filled with drama, suspense, love and thrills.
Ishq Mein Mar Jawan’s first season started in 2017 with Arjun Bijlani and Aalisha Panwar in double role, playing both negative and positive role of Tara and Aarohi respectivel.
Deep Raichand, a suave and wealthy industrialist meets Aarohi Kashyap (Aalisha Panwar) in a party and instantly falls in love with her. However, later it turns out he is already married to her doppelganger Tara, a serial killer, and the two want to frame Aarohi for the brutal muders committed by Tara.
Ishq Mein Mar Jawan premieres on July 13 at 7 PM on Colors TV
