New Delhi: Actor Karan Patel who garnered immense appreciation for essaying the role of Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbtein, is now all set to mesmerise his fans with the iconic character of Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay
Putting an end to all the speculations, Patel confirms that he would be playing the character and add his own nuances to it to take it to the another level. The actor has replaced Karan Singh Grover who portrayed the character before lockdown, but is no longer part of the show because of health risks due to Covid-19.
Ronit Roy gave iconic status to the character with his powerful portrayal in the original Kasautii aired in 2001.
Patel says that he is not bogged down by comparisons with Roy and in fact mentions that he played the role of Mr Bajaj’s son’s friend in the original, and now starring in the show as Mr Bajaj is nothing less than special to him.
Karan Patel won many hearts with his daring stunts in Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi on Colors but he had to leave the show after he could not successfully attempt a stunt due to claustrophobia.
