New Delhi: While TV shoots have resumed and most of the people associated with shows are back to work, there are many who do not want to risk their health in the current circumstances and are preferring to stay indoors for at least a month.
Former Bigg Boss stars Daljiet Kaur and Aarti Singh in an Instagram live on Tuesday connected with their fans. The two are taking it easy and have no plans to rush to the sets in the face of Covid-19.
“I am really scared to go back to sets, especially since I have a small child (Jaydon) at home. I am not thinking of resuming shoot for at least a month,” Daljiet told us in reponse to our query.
Daljiet and Aarti were locked in Bigg Boss 13 house together and the former was evicted in just two weeks while Aarti was a finalist. When asked if the Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega actress is in touch with her Bigg Boss housemates, this is what she said. “Not really. There are so many things that keep you busy at home. I have not been able to keep in touch,” the actress said during the live.
While Aarti is in Lucknow during the lockdown and is engrossed in cooking delicious meals, Daljiet on the other hand keeps busy with her little one.
“All I do is plan and cook a meal, lie down on my bed or perch on my sofa in my nighwear. Today I got properly ready for the live,” said a beaming Aarti.
Aarti might have become one of the favourite all-time Bigg Boss contestants for her fans, but she is relieved to be out of house and leading life her way. “I miss Bigg Boss very little. Mostly, I am happy to be outside the house. I sometimes miss Bigg Boss ki awaaz. I loved talking to him,” said Aarti.
Aarti too is not entertaining any projects coming her way for the time being. “Calls are coming but I will wait for at least a month,” says Aarti.
Daljit feels that she has finally understood the format of Bigg Boss and feels she could have nailed it now. “Had I stayed longer people would have seen my strength,” she rues.
There are rumours of Bigg Boss 14 doing the rounds and the two wonder what the theme could be. Aarti wants to see all her favourite Bigg Boss contestants together in the new season and call it Best of Bigg Boss. “Imagine if all of them like Dolly, Khali, Kash… come together as contestants, what fun would it be,” said Aarti.
Hope makers are listening.
